![]() IStudiez Pro is one of the best college scheduling apps I've seen, going the extra mile to be flexible while keeping the interface readable at a glance and easy to use. Hopefully this is something the developers will fix in future updates. Unfortunately the zoom only works on one (vertical) axis, so you can zoom things to be taller, but not wider. You also can reverse-pinch to zoom when it's difficult to see. Here you'll see all your classes laid out, with the color-coding I talked about above, and days of the week. When viewing the calendar, simply turn your phone sideways to switch to the week view. Where you had a button for the week view on the iPad, on the iPhone, it's a little bit different. ![]() The Planner button in the lower right lets you view classes and schedules for each semester, and you can view holidays and your instructor list. You also can set alarms to remind you when a class is coming or an assignment is due.īuttons at the bottom of the screen get you to the day and monthly calendars, and there are also buttons to track your assignments. The plus sign in the lower right lets you add specific assignments, when they are due, and you can set the priority. A plus sign in the lower left lets you add classes, holidays, and exams just like in week view. Touching a class in the week view brings up a window that shows you the day and time of the class, the instructor, and any notes you have about the class.ĭay view is where you can see everything you need to do that day. Touch the plus sign in the lower right to enter a new class or exam, enter a holiday, or any other new calendar event. In week view, you can see all your classes laid out for the week. At the top of the screen you can touch buttons for either the day or week view. With your schedule entered and out of the way, you can use the calendar view to see what your weeks will look like. ![]() You can assign colors and icons to each individual class to make your calendar easy to read quickly. You can also enter your professors' office hours if applicable. You start by entering your class schedule with days and times and then the professor for each class along with her e-mail address and phone number. Lastly, and this is stretching it a little far haha, but maybe a section where I can enter data for item analysis for tests and quizzes? I did say it was my dream team lineup! I have yet to find a decent item analysis spreadsheet app for quantifying data from questions on tests / test questions.More than just a to-do list app, iStudiez Pro lays out your schedule and makes it easy to see what's coming up at a glance. I will second or third the idea for a categories list to be able to group weighted scores together rather than create separate tabs/columns to get the desired data. Sort of like what Teacherkit does (which I do not use anymore thanks to your wonderful program!). In conjunction with that if it can be done, have a main dashboard after tapping into a class from the main screen that can graphically display things like attendance and such. My dream team for the next release would be:Īny way to make charts and graphs for columns and such? It would be great for generating reports to give to administration and such without just having lists of numbers. ![]() I am loving everything in your program so far! This would be extremely useful as it would allow me to photograph much more student work and then when I do reports or something similar, access it through Idoceo without it eating a big chunk of device memory. Improvement three: Add the option to save media to the cloud, then access it through idoceo as and when it was needed. Improvement two: Save photos to an album called 'Idoceo ' to help keep photos organised. Improvement one: When you save a photo to a student (cell in markbook or student themselves) superimpose the name of the student over the photo. They both essentially want better file management, and after getting an Ipad air to replace my Ipad 2 and seeing the increase in file size for a photo (!) I'd also find it helpful. I've had the same thing mentioned to me by two members of staff at work today.ġ) A music teacher who has been recording clips of students performances using idoceoĢ) a science teacher who wants to photo students work and save it in the mark book.
